Version: 25.03 - Reef

Getting Started

These CES images are based on upstream Ceph releases with some additional patches and bug fixes. Clyso strives to keep these images compatible with upstream, meaning there will always be a path to upgrade out of CES releases to upstream Ceph releases.

Versioning and Release Information

Overview

Clyso Enterprise Storage (CES) is built on Ceph technology and follows a structured versioning system to ensure stability and compatibility. Each CES version is carefully tested and optimized with specific Ceph releases to provide enterprise-grade reliability.

Version Numbering

CES follows a YY.MM.X versioning scheme:

  • YY: Release year (e.g., 24 for 2024)
  • MM: Release month (e.g., 11 for November)
  • X: Patch version number (starting at 0)
