Versioning and Release Information
Overview
Clyso Enterprise Storage (CES) is built on Ceph technology and follows a structured versioning system to ensure stability and compatibility. Each CES version is carefully tested and optimized with specific Ceph releases to provide enterprise-grade reliability.
Version Numbering
CES follows a YY.MM.X
versioning scheme:
YY
: Release year (e.g., 24 for 2024)MM
: Release month (e.g., 11 for November)X
: Patch version number (starting at 0)

Upgrading
To upgrade out of CES to Ceph upstream version or vice versa, visit the Cephadm-based migration guide.
